BWA2.0S is the world’s first BIA device to use 3MHz to improve the accuracy of the measurement and it also enabled to accurately measure severe edema patients. Not only did this increase the accuracy but it also provided a way to add parameters such as Multi-reactance(5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz), Multi-phase angle(5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz), and Segmental Phase-Angle
The BWA2.0S clamp electrode is made up of two forceps that can measure the impedance of the center and the distal part respectively. The difference between the two impedances can be used as clinical indicators for wrist and ankle swelling. The clamp electrode also has an indicator function that can be attached between the wrist and ankle bones, which provides high reproducibility.
